 Hello readers.

Today I am going to tell you what we have been doing. We have been doing our summer learning journey kickstart.  We got to colour in a picture. This is my work that I did. We got to pick a picture and coloured in the picture and screenshot it and put it on your blog.

Thank you for reading my blog. Have a good day I hope you like my work.

  1. Kia Ora Tyran,

My name is Shannon, and I’m from the Summer Learning Journey.

Your recolouring of the painting is phenomenal! I really like your use of blue, as well as the variation in shades you have used. Blue is such a calming colour, so the way you’ve used it to contrast such big crashing waves is amazing. I also really like that in adding more blue, you’ve changed the sky as well so it blends in better too.

I love going to the beach. My favourite part is building sandcastles! I like to collect shells to decorate my castles and usually try to build a moat around the edge as well. What’s your favourite thing to do when at a beach or swimming pool?

Good job on starting the Summer Learning Journey, I look forward to seeing all your future blog posts! What activities are you most excited for?

    Ka kite anō,
    Shannon (SLJ)

  2. Hello Tyran.
The colours you have used almost make the waves look angry. It makes them look bigger.
I can't wait to see what other learning you will be doing over the holidays.
Just remember that when you write the word 'I',it needs to be a capital letter.
    Have a great holiday.

What a fantastic recolour. I love your bold choices! I think yours looks way better than the original. It’s brighter, and stands out more! Ka pai!

Some more activities have just been published for the SLJ, so head on over to the 2020-2021 Summer Learning Journey to start collecting points!

    Happy blogging!
